Description
Fiber mechanical attenuator is a passive optical flange to provide a certain value of attenuation on optical power level. Fiber mechanical attenuator divides to two types, bulkhead female to female attenuator and female to male type attenuator. A fixed attenuation value or variable attenuation value are available to be selected. Fiber mechanical attenuator is used in interconnecting of two connectors, it is widely applied in optical fiber management system, optical testing project, ODN, LAN, WAN, FTTh, Metro and CATV.
